ALL -SEASON is an excellent year-round source of easily assimilated marine and vegetable proteins. The generous portion of marine proteins promotes rapid growth, while the high vegetable content ensures quick and easy digestion in all temperatures. In addition, the shrimp and spirulina enable ALL-SEASON to perform very well in maintaining vibrant colors of all koi varieties. This formula can be used in conjunction with all other Dainichi Koi Foods, however, it is especially beneficial during cooler weather when the koi's metaboloism is slower.

A two-step application of vitamins and minerals, especially vitamins C and E, ensure that the luster, sheen and whites of your koi are always at their best. As in all other Dainichi koi foods, ALL-SEASON contains calcium montmorillonite clay to simulate the natural ingestion of mineral particles and to bind and neutralize metabolic toxins. Raw, fully potent vitamins, digestive enzymes and garlic ensure that the fish are healthy and free of internal parasites. Furthermore, the scouring action of the clay enhances a continued rejuvenation of the digestive tract, which in turn ensures a maximum rate of digestion and assimilation of nutrients. With only two sources of starch (flour as binder and wheat germ as a source of vitamins E and B), ALL -SEASON keeps the body conformation of all koi in a constant show-ready condition. GROWTH PLUS is our specialty growth formula. Formulated with unprecedented amounts of Antarctic krill, shrimp and white fish meal, this formula's main objective is to produce a maximum growth and superior body conformation. With the exception of the readily convertable carotenoids from the krill and shrimp, there are no other color enhancers added to impair the unmatched growth performance . Koi convert the nutrients from food much more effectively into size when they don't expend valuable energy on putting on color.

Ideal food for keeping all koi in show quality condition, this high performance formula provides your fish with a perfect balance of both growth and color. PREMIUM can be used alone or in conjunction with other formulas such as GROWTH PLUS, ALL-SEASON or PRIMARY.

Featuring five sources of protein, of which spirulina, krill, and shrimp are also color enhancing, this formula is an all-time favorite with serious hobbyists and many top Japanese koi breeders and koi connoissuers. Usage

Feed your fish only as much as they will eat (immediately) in a few minutes, 2 to 4 times daily. Smaller, more frequent feeding are preferred over a single large one. All Dainichi foods have low levels of starches to prevent excessive swelling in the digestive tract and to maintain a lean show-ready body conformation. There is no need for other spirulina-containing color food (like COLOR IMTENSIFIER) to be used in conjunction with PREMIUM. Heavy feeding using both of these color formulas may result in the whites of the koi turning pink, requiring a switch to either PRIMARY, ALL-SEASON or GROWTH PLUS until the whites return back to their normal shade.

COLOR INTENSIFIER is recommended for use during peak activity months when water temperature is above 60°-65° F. This is a fast color formula. Maximum color is usually achieved after 4 - 6 weeks of use. There are no ill effects from continuous use, however, prolonged periods of use and/or very heavy feedings can result with the whites of koi turning slightly pink. This guideline of course, applies only to koi with white coloration. In such instance it is advisable to reduce the amount of COLOR INTENSIFIER being fed and/or a switch to any of our other formulas, with the exception of PREMIUM, which also has color enhancing properties. If the speed at which color is brought up is not a consideration, the exact same color brightness and intensity can be achieved with more control through a regular use of the PREMIUM formula.

COLOR INTENSIFIER does not contain any astaxanthin or other concentrated pigment additives which often turn the whites of koi a dirty yellow color. However, if the whites of the koi were to turn a pink hue from too much spirulina intake, koi keepers can take comfort in knowing that the clean, bright, white color can return in about two weeks, whereas the yellowed whites produced by other means can remain dingy for a number of weeks.

To maximize both color and growth rate, this formula can be used with our krill food, GROWTH PLUS. A ratio of one part color food to 2-3 parts growth food produces very good results. Price conscious hobbyists can use a similar ratio of COLOR INTENSIFIER to PRIMARY or ALL-SEASON formulas to maintain an economic yet still a first rate feeding program.
